Jibe – Brand Messaging
Jibe isn’t only a transportation management association. They’re the group arguing for buses, pooled rides, and bike-to-school culture in North Natomas. After years of steady programs, staff still needed the same sentence everyone could repeat without a whiteboard.
Boost Media Group brought MKTNG in to host that conversation.
We borrowed the Brandstorm format for a half-day session: history, friction points, and survey data on how the neighborhood perceived Jibe. Afterward, Boost and MKTNG kept meeting until the wording settled.
The backlog turned into concrete language: tightened messaging recommendations, an updated tagline, a stated brand position, and a short identity line Jibe could drop into speeches and agendas. Public-facing closes still hinge on Every Journey Matters, the line that states why walk-to-school day and bike repair clinics exist.
Regional mobility work fights on memory as much as on maps. Naming the storyline helps both.
