Managed AI services

Managed AI services for companies that don't have an AI team

What it is

Managed AI services are the ongoing operation of a company's AI systems by an outside team: monitoring agents, correcting drift, updating the knowledge they run on, adapting to model changes, and training staff. MKTNG provides this under a service agreement with a monthly tier, for systems we've built on Groundwork.

An AI system degrades without anyone touching it

Traditional software does the same thing on day 300 that it did on day one. An AI system doesn't. The model underneath gets updated by its maker. Your prices change. A new service launches and nobody tells the agent. Six months in, it's answering from a company that no longer exists, and the first person to notice is a customer.

At a 40-person company, watching for that isn't anyone's job.

What the category calls managed services, we call Managed Operation

It's step five of our six steps, followed by step six, Customer Success.

In Managed Operation, we watch what the agents produce and catch drift: answers that slide away from your facts or your voice. We keep Groundwork current as the company changes, and every change to your record is a person's decision. We handle model updates so you don't wake up to a different tool. We review the system with you every quarter against the goals in your roadmap.

Customer Success is how it sticks with your team. One named owner on your side. Training by role, so the estimator and the office manager each learn the part they'll use. Checks at 30 days, 90 days, then quarterly.

This is the step that doesn't end, and it's priced that way on purpose.

How the six steps work

Why we don't sell the build without this

We've watched what happens to a build with nobody operating it. It works, people are impressed, and within two quarters it's stale and unused. The build is where the knowledge gets written down. The operation is where it starts earning, because the systems report back and the record gets sharper every week.

Our own pipeline runs this way. An agent reads our CRM and live proposals and briefs the team each morning, and we tune it constantly. BrightWork Realty Advocates' Revenue Agent has run under the same arrangement since June 2026.

Managed Operation follows AI implementation, and the quarterly reviews are where you measure AI ROI.

It starts with a Working Session.

One conversation with your team about where you want AI to take the company, and what you're working with today. It's step one of six, and the start of Discovery and Roadmap.

Questions we get

What are managed AI services?

Managed AI services are the ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of a company's AI systems by an outside provider, usually on a monthly agreement. They cover agent monitoring, knowledge updates, model changes, and staff training.

What is AI drift?

Drift is when an AI system's output moves away from what's accurate or on-brand over time. Causes include model updates, outdated company information, and prompts that no longer match how the business works. It's caught by monitoring output against the company's written record.

Do you manage AI systems someone else built?

Our service agreement covers systems built on Groundwork. If you have an existing system, the systems audit will tell us both whether it can be brought onto that foundation.

What does it cost per month?

We don't publish pricing. The monthly tier depends on what's running, and you'll see it in the roadmap before any build starts.

Who on our team needs to be involved?

One named owner. They're the person we train first and meet with each quarter.

Can we stop?

Yes. Your knowledge record is in open-format files you own and it leaves with you.

What is Groundwork?

Groundwork is the structured record of your company that your agents, website, and proposals read from. Keeping it current is the core of Managed Operation.
