Scott Eggert

Scott Eggert is an entrepreneur, marketing executive, nonprofit advocate, and arts activist.

As President of MKTNG, he’s led a senior communications practice in Sacramento for over eleven years, working with national brands across agriculture, luxury home products, homebuilders, retail, destination tourism, financial institutions, and nonprofits. He co-founded GoldenDoodle AI, a communications platform built for nonprofit teams that need consistent, dignified content at scale.

Scott builds what he talks about. He contributes to SVP Sacramento’s AI for Good initiative, vibe-coding applications for the nonprofit sector, and sits on the board of The Alliance (Defending the Cause for Families and Children).

A leader in the nonprofit community, Scott co-founded DBA Arts and is a Partner and Think Tank Program Director at Sacramento Social Venture Partners. He helped launch the Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s Big Day of Giving, supporting the campaign through 2019 and helping raise over $30 million. He has served on boards overseeing distributions of hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to nonprofits locally and abroad.

A Sacramento native, Scott has been embedded in the arts since he was performing in choirs and producing live events as a kid. He still produces. Recent projects include Art Street and ArtHotel (M5 Arts and DBA Arts), Confluence: Creative Directors of Sacramento, and Do the Dance, a documentary in production.

Scott is a public speaker, media resource, and the kind of person who builds the thing rather than just talking about it.
