Scott Eggert

Scott Eggert is an entrepreneur, marketing executive, non-profit advocate, and arts activist. As President and CEO of MKTNG, Scott serves as a thought leader on public relations, branding, marketing, and community relations. Scott has served as an executive and consultant for marketing agencies nationwide, working with national brands across a variety of industries, including agriculture, produce commodities and meat producers, luxury home products industry, home builders, retail, destination tourism, wineries, arts and nonprofit organizations, and financial institutions. A leader in the nonprofit community, Scott is co-founder of arts nonprofit, DBA Arts, and a Partner with Sacramento Social Venture Partners. Scott has also helped launch the Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s Big Day of Giving (#BDOG) supporting the campaign until 2019, helping raise over $30 Million. Scott served on the boards of Social Media Club Sacramento (SMCSAC) for seven years, as well as California Groundbreakers. Scott has also served on boards overseeing distributions of hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to non-profits locally and abroad. A Sacramento native, Scott performed in choirs and produced live performances, festivals and musicals from a young age. Active in the arts community, he helps facilitate a variety of arts programming across all mediums, including art shows, festivals, dance and film. In recent years, projects produced include Connectionopolis (with Sacramento Business Journal, 2012 – 2019), Stache Bash and Palladi-gras (MKTNG and Yelp for Palladio), Art Street and ArtHotel (M5 Arts and DBA Arts), Confluence – Creative Directors of Sacramento (OffSpec Arts and DBA Arts), Do the Dance documentary (still in production), and Cali Rice Fest (Postponed in May, 2020 due to COVID). Scott is a seasoned public speaker, media resource, non-profit advocate and arts activist.
